Elaine Davis Attacks Rubio Supporter

A surce close to WATE has informed me that when Tennessee This Week airs on Sunday, Elaine Davis a former failed local Democrat politico launched into a load of bs on the local endorsements for Marco Rubio (which was held on Wednesday) which this author was one of the endorsers.

In particular, Former County Commissioner and County Mayor Mike Ragsdale caught Davis attention, I have been told. She reportedly states he left office in shame and disgrace. While he was marred with some controversy, it wasn’t as I have been told Davis portrayed it. In fact, Ragsdale has been on a ballot 4 times (Primary and General in 1990 and 1994) for County Commission  and 4 times (Primary and General in 2002 and 2006) for County Mayor and once as a Bush delegate in 2004. All nine times he was successful.

If I recall correctly Davis ran as a Democrat for county commission once or twice, as a write in 2006 and in the election of 2008, in 2012 she ran in a non partisan school board race having lost everytime. She did serve on County Commission after a post Black Wednesday appointment process where her Commission Cronies appointed her to serve.

Why would WATE allow a known Demorat to opine on the local endorsement of Marco Rubio and not on Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders? Come on WATE examine who you invite on your talking head show and make sure they are qualified and prepared to present facts, not their personal bias.
